Patch design kit
Take your patch from an idea to a clear brief. Print a size sheet, check your artwork at its intended size and record the material, backing and approval details.
Try the size before you order
The sheets include a 50 mm circle, a 60 × 40 mm rectangle, a 60 × 60 mm shield and a 75 × 25 mm name strip. These are starting shapes for planning, not minimum sizes or factory production limits. Dimensions describe the full outside shape.

Place the printed shapes on the intended garment or bag. Keep important lettering away from the edge, then ask PinPerfect to confirm the border width, usable artwork area and production allowances for your material.
Artwork preparation checklist
- State the finished width and height in millimeters, including the border.
- Provide vector artwork where available, plus a reference image. Keep an editable source file and outline fonts in a production copy. A clear sketch is also useful for discussing the design.
- Check lettering, thin lines and small gaps at the actual intended size. Ask for simplification where detail may not reproduce cleanly.
- Separate the patch silhouette, border, color areas and any lettering. Mark color references; do not rely on a phone screenshot alone.
- For embroidery, confirm thread choices, stitch direction and the border construction. For PVC, mark flat levels or rounded relief and any sewing channel.
- Specify backing, garment or surface, loop panel requirements and packaging separately.
- Approve the final proof and sample, including spelling, size, colors, border, back and attachment. Record the version and approval date.
There is no single universal minimum line width or text size for every patch. The material, stitch or mold construction and finished size affect the result. Get production limits confirmed for your design.
