Dachshund in a Kippah Enamel Pin

This enamel pin brings together a playful dachshund and a little Jewish pride. Wearing a blue kippah with a Star of David, this charming dog turns an everyday favorite into a cheerful celebration of identity.

Designed by Rachelle Gage, the artwork grew from her idea of combining the playfulness of her style with a fresh Chanukah pattern. The result is a character full of warmth, personality, and a distinctly Jewish touch.

Rachelle Gage is a graphic designer based in New York City. She creates pattern designs by mixing traditional and digital art mediums. She’s also written and illustrated three children’s books.

As a proud Jew and granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor, she was impacted firsthand by the rise of antisemitism and the silencing of Jewish voices. This shift inspired her more recent work to include Jewish and Israeli imagery. It also inspired her book We’re Not OK: Jewish and Ally Experiences Post 10/7, which includes submissions sharing various perspectives through personal anecdotes, poems, and letters.

When she’s not creating art, she enjoys running, hiking, and travel.
