PinPerfect on ynet Global: How One Oleh Built an Israel & Jewish Pride Pin Brand

PinPerfect was featured by ynet Global as part of its Shuk Olim entrepreneur panel, hosted in cooperation with Nefesh B'Nefesh. You can read the full ynet Global feature here.
From London to Tel Aviv: the story behind PinPerfect
Every enamel pin we make starts with the same idea — that the things you wear should say something about who you are and what you stand for. That idea was at the heart of a recent ynet Global feature, "From Brooklyn to Tel Aviv: olim entrepreneurs turn dreams into businesses," which spotlighted three immigrant founders building brands in Israel. PinPerfect was proud to be one of them.
PinPerfect founder David Bensimhon arrived in Israel from London 14 years ago to volunteer for the IDF. After serving, building a family and spending years in high-tech, he launched PinPerfect — a brand creating enamel pins inspired by Israel, Zionism and Jewish pride. The panel was held ahead of Shuk Olim in Tel Aviv, Nefesh B'Nefesh's annual marketplace celebrating immigrant-owned businesses.
"At a time when showing support for Israel has become more difficult in many places, we wanted to create products people could wear proudly."
Why we make Israel and Jewish pride enamel pins
Wearing your values shouldn't require a speech. A pin does the talking. Our collection is built around that belief — small, beautifully made pieces that let people show identity, solidarity and connection to Israel in everyday life.
That ranges from our Israel flag pin collection and the popular Israel Flag Map enamel pin, to Hebrew-language designs like the Am Yisrael Chai street sign pin inspired by a real sign in Tel Aviv. Each design is meant to spark recognition, conversation and a sense of belonging.
Designs that mark the moment
Some of our pins are celebratory. Others carry weight. Our Hostage Solidarity Collection was created to support, remember and act — including the Emily Damari tribute pin, inspired by the bandaged hand of a survivor and former hostage that became a symbol seen around the world. We also produce IDF enamel pins and designs that commemorate national events and milestones in Israeli identity.
The goal is the same across the catalogue: products that mean something, made to a quality worth wearing.
The community that makes it possible
In the ynet Global panel, all three founders pointed to the same thing — the openness of Israel's entrepreneurial community. There's a striking lack of ego among small business owners here; people share pricing advice, market opportunities and encouragement freely.
Nefesh B'Nefesh played a central role in that journey, helping build connections, customers and partnerships, and creating spaces like Shuk Olim where olim-owned brands can meet their customers face to face.
What's next for PinPerfect
The ambition is simple: to grow PinPerfect into a recognized local and international brand while staying deeply rooted in Israel. For anyone thinking about making aliyah and building something of their own, the message from the panel was clear — take the leap. You don't need to have it all figured out. The community is here to help you succeed.
